Emma Louise Polsley

Emma Louise Polsley, 77, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at her residence.

Born on January 5, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Emma was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Ethel Louise Watts Long.  On October 18, 1965, Emma married Carl W. Polsley, Sr.; he survives her in Gallipolis.  Emma was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and retired from Robbins & Myers.

Emma is survived by her husband, Carl W. Polsley, Sr. of Gallipolis; son, Carl W. Polsley, Jr. (Vanessa Egnor) of Gallipolis; brothers, Charles Long of Gallipolis, David Long of Gallipolis , Al T. Long of Gallipolis, and Mike (Brandy) Long of Gallipolis; sister, Carmel Long of Vinton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Long and two sisters, Nancy Henry and Betty Long.

A Graveside Service will be held for Emma at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Gravel Hill Cemetery with Pastor Neil Tennant officiating.
