Evelyn M. Price

Evelyn M. Price, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Scenic Hills Nursing Center. She was born on December 26, 1933 in Branchland, WV to the late Robert and Nora McComas Adkins. She was married to Ralph Price on September 19, 1953 in Huntington, WV and he survives her. Evelyn attended Guyan Valley High School for three years and graduated from Huntington East High School. She attended Marshall University. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Price of Gallipolis; a son, Wayne Cristy Price of Brentwood, TN; two daughters, Barbara Ann Danny Betcher of Warren, MI and Sandra Kay Kelly Brumfield of Roseville, MI; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Charlie Cupp of Lesage, WV; one brother, Robert Barbara Adkins of Wetumpka, AL. Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2006, at Willis Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Lamphier, the Rev. Sherron Courneen and the Rev. Andrew Parsons officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Hope Mausoleum, Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
