Frances Thomas, 82, passed away on March 13, 2006 at home in Poinciana, Florida. Frances Carabell “Toots” was born on July 29, 1923 at the home of her grandparents, M.J. and Eva Caldwell Clary, the daughter of Golden and Gertie Clary Watson. She attended Mercerville High School. Frances moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1957 and worked over 24 years at AT & T Columbus Works. She is a member of the John D. Burley Foundation and attended Day Spring Ministry, Canal Winchester, Ohio. Frances maintained her own home until 2003, when health problems forced her to give up her home and be a part of the family of her son, Raymond L. and Karen Haner. Surviving are Farrell Ray Gerie Haner of Jackson, Ohio, Frank Patty Haner of Croton, Ohio, Raymond Karen Haner of Poinciana, Florida, John Steven Linda Biby of Pinckneyville, Illinois, Jeffery Sandra Thomas of Whitehall, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister, Frieda Ervin of Ft. Myers, Florida; brothers, Harold “Buddy” Pauline Watson of Gallipolis, Ohio and Myron Maralene Watson, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Paul Haner, and granddaughter, Stephanie Biby. Services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m.until the time of the service on Saturday.
