Gary Allen Stewart, 62, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born on August 28, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Gary was the son of the late Pauline E. Stewart Hornsby. Gary was an artist and a former cab driver. In addition to his mother, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Stewart.
Gary is survived by his brother, Steve (Jackie) Hornsby of Thurman, Ohio; nephew, Levi (Megan) Hornsby; niece, Mackenzie (Jacob) Bing; and stepdad, Harvey Hornsby of Gallipolis.
The funeral service for Gary will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Marlin Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mercerville Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
