Geneva Waugh Sheets, 87, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born on February 22, 1918 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late James and Elizabeth Layne Waugh. She was married to Clyde Sheets and he preceded her in death. Geneva was a private duty sitter with the elderly and a farmer. She had attended Kings Chapel Church. Surviving are a daughter, Doris Wells of Gallipolis; a son, Dale Doris Sheets of Gallipolis; nine grandchildren, Rick and Judy Eggleton of Bidwell, Mary and Bill McCarley of Vinton, Linda and Don Newell of Bidwell, Sherry and Ray Hylton of Gallipolis, Tina and Brett Harrison of Patriot, Dale and Brenda Sheets, Jr. of Crown City, Mark and Vickie Sheets and Dave Boster, both of Gallipolis and Debbie Halley of Crown City; thirteen great grandchildren, a special grandmother to Allan, Payton and Kimbie Hylton; three great great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Boster and Alvin “Casey” Boster, both of Crown City. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents, her husband, Clyde Sheets, one son, Gary Gene Sheets, one daughter, Mary Lou Sheets, two sisters, Vivian Boster and Georgia Markins, and one brother, Carroll Boster. Services will be on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Berkley Saunders officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 20, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dale Sheets, Jr., Mark Allen Sheets, Allen Hylton, Payton Hylton, Rick Eggleton, and Kimbie Hylton.
