George Brumfield

George Brumfield, 80, of Scottown, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born November 20, 1930 in Franklin County, Ohio, son of the late Sheridan E. and Vianna Sumpter Brumfield. George was a Navy and Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also a construction worker. Surviving are his sister, Mary Vance of El Paso, Texas; two nieces, Marcella and Felicia; andfour nephews, Ray, Jr, Malcolm, Nathan, and Aaron, and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death bythree brothers, Floyd,Ray, and BernardBrumfield and one nephew Harold. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Okey Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Eugene Harmon officiating.
