Geraldine "Geri" L. Proctor

Geraldine “Geri” L. Proctor, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 9, 1943 in Orangeville, Indiana, daughter of the late Clarence Samuel and Thelma Lucille Goodpaster. She married Billy G. Proctor and he survives her. Geri was the owner/operator of G & G Grocery and Carryout for 29 years. She attended Bulaville Christian Church. She also enjoyed running the store and her family and friends. Surviving is her husband, Billy G. Proctor of Gallipolis; four daughters, Regina Lynn (Fuzz) Roush of Vinton, Ohio, Debra Peters of Paoli, Indiana, Vivian Sue Spires of Gallipolis, Ohio, Sonja Deah Nibert (David Schneider) of Paoli, Indiana; two stepchildren, Deanna Proctor and Jason Proctor, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; six grandchildren, Aaron Mundy, Charles Peters Jr., Brittany Eileen Peters, Dylan Long, Jake Proctor, Alley Gonya; five great grandchildren; and five sisters, Carolyn (Leroy) Wright of Merango, Indiana, Charlotte (Wayne) Brewer of Orleans, Indiana, Gwen (Billy Jo) Wells of Westbadden, Indiana, Patricia Brown of Phoenix, Arizona, Karen (Larry) Fraizer of Seymour, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Barcus officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
