Gracie J. Caldwell

Gracie J. Caldwell, 98, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala, Ohio. Gracie was born on September 17, 1926 in Jackson County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Peter and Margie Hunt Parsons.

Gracie was a 1947 graduate of Mercerville High School and worked in housekeeping for motels. She was married to John Edward Caldwell on November 18, 1950; and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1981. Gracie was also preceded in death by two daughters, Diana and Debra; siblings, Leslie, Wilmer, Sherman, Auvil, Tunnie Clary, Dolly Mooney, Verbie Waugh, and Naomi "Cissie" Whitt.

Gracie is survived by three children, Denise Caldwell, Edward Dell Caldwell, and Dwayne Caldwell and one grandson, Jonathan Stump.

The funeral service for Gracie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Workman officiating. Her burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends and family may call prior to the service Friday at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service.
