Henry Ray Fillinger

Henry Ray Fillinger, 57, of Crown City, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 26, 1957 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Floyd R. Fillinger and Pauline McKinney Wilson, who survives him. Ray was married to Tina Fillinger, who preceded him in death on December 23, 2009. He was a Hannan Trace High School graduate. Ray was in the U.S. Army and a former mechanic for Gallia County Local Schools. Surviving are his daughters, Lynmarie (Ernest) Sargent of Pt. Pleasant, WV and Kalyn Paige Preston of Patriot; two grandchildren, William and Olivia Sargent of Pt. Pleasant, WV; his mother, Pauline Wilson of Wellston, Ohio; a sister, Peggy L. Heisel of Centerville, Ohio and a brother, Jerry L. (Tammy) Fillinger of Pt. Pleasant, WV. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Home with a military flag presentation at the conclusion of the visitation.
