Hobart L. Daniels, 72, of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at his residence. Hobart was born on September 4, 1943 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Thomas and Anise Bailey Daniels. He was retired from the Gallia County Local Schools System. He enjoyed Turkey and Deer Hunting. Hobart also coached pee wee and little league baseball for several years. He served in the National Guard for 6 years and attended the Thurman United Methodist Church. Hobart was a 1961 Graduate of Southwestern High School. Hobart married Ann Sprouse Daniels on October 29, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio and she survives. He is also survived by a son Troy Daniels (Sandy) of Centerville, three sisters Ruby (David) Pelfrey of Vinton, Faye (Jim) Coleman of Columbus, and Rosie Swanson of Gallipolis, a brother-in-law Randy (Debbie) Sprouse of Centerville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers Harold, Leo and Gerald Daniels. Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Centenary Cemetery with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating.
