Inez M. Haislop

Inez M. Haislop, 88, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born on October 25, 1926 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, daughter of the late John D. and Artha M. Carr Hornsby. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ, a homemaker, waitress, foster grandparent and baby-sitter. She was married to Robert L. Haislop and he preceded her in death, also preceding in death was a son Paul L. Haislop, three sisters Eunice Alderson, Geraldine Osborne, and Ethel Hornsby, and by one brother John W. Hornsby. Inez is survived by four daughters Cassandra Byer, Ann (Gene) Elliott, both of Gallipolis, Ruth (Robert) Ervin and Beverly Bush, both of Jackson, Ohio and by two sons James W. (Carolyn) Haislop of Bidwell, and Robert Lee (Sheila) Haislop of Oak Hill, Ohio. 24 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Chapel Hill Church of Christ with Minister Jonathan McNulty officiating. Burial will be in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
