Jack Leon Underwood

In memory of Jack Leon Underwood, 82, of Gallipolis, who passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Abbyshire Place. He was born May 13, 1932 in Hugheston, West Virginia, son of the late Fred and Virginia Mae Tucker Underwood. Jack was married to Linda F. Bird and she survives him. He retired as a welder from American Car and Foundry. Jack was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Underwood; his brothers, Ralph, Larry and Garland; his sons, Jack Leon Underwood, Jamie and wife Jennifer Underwood and their children, Cody, Kyle and Abigail; daughter Jacqueline Underwood; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a son, Rodney, his sisters, Norma, Louise and Doris and his brothers, Donald and Terry. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 538 Bulaville Pike in Gallipolis, Ohio on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Joel Davis officiating.
