Jacob Michael Ours

Jacob Michael “Jake” Ours, 19 month old son of James Michael and Jackie R. Merry Ours, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2007. Jake was born on October 5, 2005 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Jackie Ours of Patriot, a brother Layne Ours at home, Maternal grandparents, Anita and Jeff Merry of Bidwell, Paternal grandparents, Jeanne and Marvin E. Ours, Jr. of Gallipolis, Maternal great grandparents, William and Gertrude DeVault of Gallipolis, and Betty Merry of Bidwell, Paternal great grandmother Mary Jo Ours of Gallipolis, Aunts, Julie Merry, Jodi Merry both of Bidwell, Uncles, Jamie Merry of Bidwell, and Brian “Shari” Ours of Seattle, WA, Great Aunt and Uncle Jennifer and Jim Osborne of Gallipolis, God Parents Ken and Janet Schilling of Marietta, OH, Cousins Brian, Cameron and Colby Ours, and Brooklin Clonch, Several great aunts and uncles survive. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, James R. Merry, Theresa and Stephen Geremesz, and Marvin Ours. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the St. Louis Catholic Church with Monsignor William Myers officiating. Burial follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 from 5- 8 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brian Ours, Jamie Merry, Joel Jagers, and Travis Ratliff.
