Jaelynn Alexandria Shaffer, five months old, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 16, 2006 in Bluefield, WV. She was born on November 18, 2005 in Bluefield, WV daughter of Jamie Jacobs and Josh Shaffer. Surviving are her mother, Jamie Jacobs and her father, Josh Shaffer of Bluefield, WV; a sister, Madison Shaffer; grandparents, Debbie and Benny Clary of Bluefield, WV and Martha “Cookie” Shaffer of Gallipolis; maternal great grandma Alice Crews and great step grandpa Chester Crews, both of Crown City; paternal great great grandfather Orville Sexton of Canton, OH; aunts, Chasity Nakuma Roberts, Cherise Jacobs, Micki Shaffer, all of Gallipolis; uncle Timmy Shaffer, of Gallipolis; several great aunts, uncles and a host of cousins; special friends Steve and Mary Parsons of Crown City, Bill Burgett of Vinton, Cliff and Marla Parsons of Rio Grande, Rama McCarley of Akron, OH and Esta Downard of Vinton. Jaelynn is preceded in death by her grandpa Dean Shaffer, great grandparents, Clyde R. Porter, Violet M. Brayley, Homer Clary, Freida Davidson, Willard Robinson, Darrell and Elsie Shaffer. Services will be Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Pallbearers will be Cliff Parsons and Markie Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Clary and Bill Burgett.
