James Paul Beaver

James Paul Beaver, 78, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1936 in Gallipolis, son of the late Jesse A. and Garnet Williams Beaver. He was married to Linda Mae Pullins Beaver and she preceded him in death on January 9, 1996. He attended Good Hope Baptist Church. He worked for O’Dell Lumber Company and was a former employee of the City of Gallipolis. Surviving are his three children, Linda (Roger) Miller of Oak Hill, Matthew (Brandy) Beaver of Henderson, WV and Diana (John) Nuce of Gallipolis; four grandchildren, RD Miller, Cody and Colton Beaver and Braydon Beaver; two sisters, JoAnn Donley of Gallipolis and Luella (James) Tucker of Maryland. In addition to his parents and wife, Linda Mae Beaver, he was preceded in death by a sister Violet “Dean” Jones and two brothers, one in infancy and Jessie E. Beaver. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in Eckard Chapel Cemetery in Mason County, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
