James A. Drummond

James A. “Jim” Drummond, 70, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Jim was born on June 19, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Clifford F. Drummond and Thelma Neal Drummond. He was a home-improvement contractor and attended Prospect Baptist Church. He enjoyed the Gallipolis City Park and fishing. He is survived by a daughter Izail Drummond and a son James Drummond, Jr. and by a step-son Michael Florence, Grandchildren, Victoria Siders, Kyle, Tylor, and Megan Drummond, Michael and Jacob Florence; brothers, Larry (Kitty) Drummond, Barry Jack Drummond, Darryl “June” Drummond all of Gallipolis, Ohio and Kevin K. (Lynn) Drummond of Reston, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother Michael Linn Drummond. Services were held by the family.
