James R. "Jamie" Glassburn

James R. “Jamie” Glassburn, 32, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center ER. Born on June 26, 1986 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Jamie was the son of James C. “J.C.” Glassburn, who preceded Jamie in death on September 22, 2010, and Robecca “Gidget” Bodimer, who survives him in Gallipolis. Jamie graduated from Gallia Academy High School. He was a farmer and worked for Young’s Fencing. Jamie had attended Christ United Methodist Church. He loved fishing and hunting. Jamie is survived by his mother, Robecca “Gidget” (Lewis) Bodimer; fiance, Lynn Matney; siblings, Austin Bodimer, Lewis Bodimer, and Charla Bodimer; and several extended family members. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. The funeral service for Jamie will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Pastor Gene Armstrong and Pastor Chester Hess officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.
