James G. Haggerty

James G. Haggerty of Scottown, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Geraldine Haggerty and a stepdaughter, Misti Bechtle. Surviving are his wife, Ronda G. Haggerty, one brother, John Haggerty (Betty), stepson, Michael D. Irwin (Laura), and his family; grandchildren, Alex Bechtle (Samantha) and Kaitlin and Brandon Robbins, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Linda Coleman and their family. Jim was a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and was employed by the Timken Roller Bearing Company for almost 41 years, where he made many good friends including Bud Thompson and John Bacus and their wives. As per Jim’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A memorial service will be held sometime in October. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
