Janet Jackson

Janet R. Jackson, born March 5, 1952, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Janet was a strong and loving woman whose devotion to her family knew no bounds. Fiercely protective of those she loved, she carried her family in her heart and stood by them with unwavering strength. Her presence brought comfort, and her love left an everlasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hanley and Berniece Gardner, and her daughter Elizabeth Ann Jackson Frost, her grandson Isaiah horsley,sisters, Carolin Carmen, Belle Polcyn, and Peggy Barcus, all of Gallipolis, Ohio.

Janet leaves behind her beloved daughters, Debbie Niemeyer Bainter and Joanna Jackson Clark, both of Gallipolis, and Amy Niemeyer Conrad of Bainbridge, Ohio; her devoted life partner, Roger Montgomery of Gallipolis; six cherished grandchildren; and two precious great-grandchildren. They were the heart of her world and the greatest blessings of her life.

Janet found happiness in life's familiar comforts: a warm cup of coffee, the music she loved, and quiet moments spent sitting in her chair, watching over her surroundings. These simple moments reflected the woman she was - thoughtful, watchful, strong, and always close to the people and place she called home.

In accordance with Janet's wishes, a small, private gathering will be held with her daughters, life partner, and grandchildren. Though her absence leaves a deep ache, the strength of her love will remain with her family forever. Janet will be profoundly missed, passionately mourned, and lovingly remembered by all her family. Her life may have ended, but the love she gave will never fade.
