Janie Belle Gladman

Janie Belle Gladman, 71, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2006 at Franklin Woods Nursing Home, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 9, 1934 in Crown City, Ohio daughter of the late Ferry and Emily Sanders Fillinger. Janie was married to Garrel Eugene Gladman on February 14, 1953 and he survives her. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Garrel Eugene Gladman of Columbus; one daughter, Carlene Stephen Shover of Columbus; three sons, Dan Brenda Gladman of Hilliard, Terry W. Brenda Gladman and Rick Gladman, both of Columbus; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Fillinger of Crown City; four sisters, Frances VanPelt and Viola Slone, both of Gallipolis, Bonnie Rose of Worthington, Helen Hart of Athens; several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Kenny Gladman, four brothers, Buell Edward Fillinger, Virgil Fillinger, Russell Fillinger, Ferry Fillinger, Jr., and one sister Rosalea Cornell. Services will be Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Houck Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
