Jax Bryan Dray

October 29, 2020 — February 6, 2026

Albany, Ohio

Jax Bryan Dray, 5, of Albany, Ohio, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, February 6, 2026 in his home. Jax was born on October 29, 2020 in Gallipolis, Ohio, the son of Jade A. (Wallace) Dray and Scott B. Dray.

Jax loved dancing, playing video games, learning how to fish in the summer, and making new friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his loved ones. You could always find Jax right by his mama's side, and they shared an unbreakable bond unlike any other due to all the love they shared and the experiences they had overcame together.

Jax is survived by his mother, Jade, and father, Scott; paternal grandfather, Carl B. Dray of Gallipolis, Ohio; an uncle, James R. Wallace of Jackson, Ohio; maternal great-grandmother, Patricia Anderson McGregor of Virginia; as well as his great-aunt and great-uncle, Deborah and Robert Wallace, of Virginia.

On the same tragic day, Geraldine E. Wallace (Gerry), best known as "Mimi", Jax's beloved grandmother, also passed away in the family home. Jax passed away in his Mimi's arms, protecting him as she always did and will continue to do until the day we are all joyfully reunited in Heaven once more.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Gone far too soon, but he shall never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts always.
