Jeannette L. Tate

Jeannette L. Tate, 69, of Cheshire, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at her residence.  Jeannette was born on November 6, 1955 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Evond Dolly Smith and the late Dolan Smith.  She was a graduate of Kyger Creek High School and was a retired pre-marital counselor in Columbus, Ohio at Well Springs/Cornerstone.

Jeannette was married to Charles L. "Larry" Tate on August 31, 1974; and he survives her in Cheshire, Ohio.  She is also survived by her son Dustin and his wife Amy of Lancaster, Ohio; two grandsons, Cameron Tate and Ryan Walker both of Lancaster; and one brother, James A. Smith of Addison, Ohio.

The funeral service for Jeannette will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Preacher Brandon Moore officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the time of the service.  Her burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
