Jerry Robert Bob Byus, Sr.

Jerry Robert Bob Byus, Sr., 85, of Pt. Pleasant, WV passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 16, 2006. Bob was a retired construction worker and member of the labors union in Huntington, WV. He was born on January 7, 1921 in Delaware, Ohio to Andrew and Edith Dye Byus. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one son Clayton Jay Byus in 1960; one grandson James Robert Byus, and one granddaughter, Debra Kay Van Matre, and by his companion Garnet Queen; two brothers, James Paul Byus and Bill Byus; three sisters, Ruby Pierce, Betty Leach, and Tina Mae Byus. Bob is survived by his children Barbara George Van Matre of Mason, WV, Charles Anne Byus of Letart, WV, Nancy Jerry Mullins of Mason, WV., Jerry Glenna Byus, Jr. of Letart, WV, Wacouta Sue Darst of Leon, WV, Thomas Shirley Byus of Pt. Pleasant, WV, Randall Byus of Wellston, OH, Wilma Staph of Leon, WV, Brandace Shirley Lewis McCombs of Northup, OH, Ronald Connie Byus of Leon, WV, and Rosemary Rusty Davis of New Haven, WV; one aunt, Helen Woody Woodall of Pt. Pleasant, WV; Special Friends, the Garnet Queen Family; 26 Grandchildren, 38 Great Granchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday December 19, 2006 from 6-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home.
