Joanne S. Mead

Joanne S. Mead, 86, of Bidwell, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Abbyshire Place. Joanne was born January 2, 1930 in Clifton, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell and Clemma Cornell Sanderson. She was married to Robert “Bob” Mead and he preceded her in death. Joanne was a retired guidance counselor for the Gallipolis City Schools. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are her grandson, Robert “Robbie” (Amy) Mannon of Bidwell; and a great granddaughter, Kayle Mannon and a great grandson, Josh Farmer. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and “Shug” Foster and a granddaughter, Kimberly Mannon. A memorial service will be planned by the family at a later date.
