John P. Gavin III, 66, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late John P. Gavin II and Virginia Callahan Gavin. Services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Monsignor William Myers officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
