John E. Neuser

John E. Neuser, 87, of Corona, CA, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Pleasant Care Assisted Living in Corona. John was born on May 5, 1919 in Archbald, PA., the son of the late John E. Neuser, Sr. and Mary Ruddy Neuser. He was a retired Insurance Claim Adjustor for Auto Club, and was a former policeman in Baltimore, MD before living in California. He was a football enthusiast, and also enjoyed fishing. John served his country during World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Margaret “Margie” Strait Neuser whom he married on April 4, 1982; one daughter Susan Brian Hare of Pomona, CA,; two sisters, Jayne Marie Jack Walker of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Betty Keefe of Stratford, CT; a sister-in-law Jean Neuser of Stratford, CT, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Thomas Neuser and one brother Walter Neuser. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. William Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, July 24, 2006 from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. at Willis Funeral Home, Gallipolis, Ohio. Devotion Prayers will be at 8 PM at the funeral home on Monday. Pallbearers will be Danny Sheets, Willard Sheets, Tom Sheets and William Strait; Honorary Pallbearer will be Willard Sheets. Full military honors will be given at the cemetery by volunteers of area veteran lodges.
