John L. Russell

John L. Russell, 69, of Gallipolis passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. Born on February 14, 1950 in Gallipolis, Ohio, John was the son of the late Jesse Alvin and Dorothy Lucille Johnson White. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda and Connie White and brothers, Joe Russell, Jerry Johnson, and Jeffery White. John attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Gallipolis. John is survived by his siblings, Jesse (Kathleen) White, Jack (Rhonda) White, Jim White, Lynn (Gary) Siders, Carolyn White, and Kay (Jim) Swann, all of Gallipolis; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service for John Russell will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Harmon officiating.
