Jonas J. Hostetler Jr., 2, of 162 State Rt. 233, Patriot, Ohio, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He had a genetic disorder (Cockayne Syndrome). He was born October 9, 2009 in Gallia County, Ohio to Jonas J. and Laurie (Miller) Hostetler. Surviving are his parents; 5 sisters, Miriam, Esther, Louine, Ada and Mary of the home, grandparents John and Martha (Yoder) Hostetler, Abe and Esther (Hershberger) Miller, both of Patriot. He was preceded in death by 2 uncles, Melvin J. Hostetler, Mervin A. Miller and 1 aunt Fannie A. Miller. Funeral services were held at the Hostetler home on Wednesday, April 4 at 9:30 a.m. with Bishop Albert Byler officiating. Burial was in the Troyer Cemetery. Willis Funeral Home assisted the family.
