Joseph Earl Saunders, 79, of Circleville, formerly of Gallipolis, died, Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was born March 28, 1937 in Gallia County, son of the late Earl Saunders and Naomi Eblin McGuire. Joseph retired as a truck driver for Borden Ice Cream. Surviving are his son, Terry J. Saunders of Gallipolis; a daughter, Ashley Gilmore of Columbus; three brothers, Berkley (Judy) Saunders of Crown City, Wayne (Ellen) Saunders of Vinton, and Don (Doris) Saunders of Cleveland. A private family graveside service at Providence Cemetery will be held. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
