Juanita Jean Wagoner, 85, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Pleasant Valley Hospital in Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia. Juanita was born on March 20, 1933 in Garrison, West Virginia located in Boone County. She was the daughter of the late George Howard Haws and Louise Farley Haws. Juanita graduated from Sherman High School in Seth, West Virginia and retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center as a supervisor. She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Juanita loved her grandchildren and enjoyed bowling. Juanita was married to McKinley Kenneth Wagoner and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Jean Wagoner Jeffers and by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by three sons John Stephen Wagoner and his wife Theresa Schell Wagoner of Athens, Alabama, Dewey Daniel Wagoner and Randolph McKinley Wagoner, a son-in-law Clifford E. Jeffers of Southside, West Virginia; eight grandchildren, Scott (Lisa) Jeffers of Southside, WV, Charity (Jason Patrick) Jeffers of Gallipolis, Amy Wagoner (Bo) Owens of Birmingham, AL, Amanda Wagoner (Michael) Jacob of Ft. Myers, FL, Chris Wagoner, Timothy Wagoner, Tianna Wagoner both of Gallipolis, and Brianna Wagoner (Jack) Hooten of Bidwell, Ohio, eight great grandchildren, Kaitlin Jeffers of Southside, West Virginia, Syrus Cochran of Gallipolis, Lillie and Garrison Owens of Birmingham, AL, and Wyatt, Vivian, and Alex Jacob of Ft. Myers, FL, and Trevor Hooten of Bidwell; one Great Great Grandchild Owen James Richardson of Southside, West Virginia; one brother George Haws of Walterboro, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 5 pm Wednesday April 18, 2018 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Klaiper officiating. Private burial services will be in Centenary Cemetery.
