Kelly J. Caldwell, 41, of Albany, Georgia, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in Leesburg, Georgia, as the result of an auto accident. She was born on September 17, 1964 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to William L. Smith and Glenna Stover Henderson, who survive her. She was married to Charles Glenn Caldwell on March 14, 2003. She was a graduate of Buckeye Hills Career Center and Gallia Academy High School. Kelly was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are her daughters, Bridget Marie Barron of Athens, Ohio and Gretchen Beth Barron of Gallipolis; a grandson, Dylan Eurell of Gallipolis; her parents, William L. Smith of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and Glenna Henderson of Gallipolis; two stepchildren, Kara Nicole Caldwell and Charles Casey Caldwell, both of Warrington, Oregon; one brother, Mike Smith of Sasser, Georgia; seven sisters, Kathy Louis Blackwell of Sasser, Georgia, Vicky David Shaffer of Gallipolis, Loris Matthew Hall of Bidwell, Melinda Saunders of Gallipolis, Glenda Earl Bonecutter Henderson of Point Pleasant, WV, Colleen Smith of Chicago, IL and Sara Smith of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida;nephews, Zachary Hayes of Sasser, Georgia, Brian Shaffer of Gallipolis, Andy Tabby Smith and Joey Smith, both of Sasser, Georgia, Garrett and Blaik Saunders of Gallipolis, Alex Bonecutter, Justin Runyon and Michael Stewart, all of Point Pleasant, WV; nieces, Sarah Josh Polcyn and Donna Ryan Browning, both of Bidwell, Maggie Saunders of Gallipolis; great nieces and nephews, Corey Smith of Sasser, GA, Peyton, Baylee, Vince and Mason Browning of Bidwell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was joined in death by her husband, Charles Glenn Caldwell. Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Elizabeth Chapel with Pastor Alfred Holley and Pastor Jim Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Elizabeth Chapel on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 4-8 p.m. Willis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Zachary Hayes, Brian Shaffer, Andy Smith, Joey Smith, Josh Polcyn, and Ryan Browning. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Smith and Lois Blackwell.
