Kenneth C. Boster, 82, of Crown City, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He was born on June 30, 1923 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Roy and Elizabeth Layne Boster. Kenneth was married to Pauline Montgomery Boster and she preceded him in death in 2004. He was a retired construction worker. He was an avid coon hunter and member of the N.R.A., Mercerville Coon Club, and Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association. Kenneth was a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are a brother, Alvin “Casey” Boster of Crown City; stepsons, Warren Marjorie Woodyard of Crown City and Keith Sandy Woodyard of Ashland, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife - Pauline Boster, three sisters – Vivian Boster, Georgia Markins, and Geneva Sheets, one brother - Carroll Dale Boster and one stepson – Carlin Woodyard. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at Crown City Cemetery with Pastor Patricia Henson officiating.
