Kenneth Eugene Turley, 80, peacefully passed away surrounded by family, at St. Mary’s Hospital on August 30, 2025. Kenny was born on October 10, 1944, in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Kenneth Kerwood and Clara Frances Cobb Turley.

Kenny attended Grove City High School and served his country in the United States Navy. In 1965, he joined the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers & Helpers. He worked as a boilermaker for Local Lodge 105 until his retirement in 2002. In his free time, Kenny enjoyed playing with his grandkids, restoring vintage cars, rooting for Marshall and Ohio State football, and reading every book he could get his hands on. His quick wit and kind heart will be missed by all who knew him.

He shared a loving marriage of over 40 years with his beloved wife, Constance Rankin Turley, whom he married on December 23, 1983. She preceded him in death on April 9, 2024.

Kenny is survived by his children, Deborah (Brian) Moore of Kokomo, Indiana, Kevin (Crystal) Turley of Kingsland, Georgia, Base (Jennifer) Bailey of Crown City, Ohio, and Bill (Mara) Bailey of Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren, Kayla, Emily, Hannah, Carson, McKenzie and Will; sisters-in-law, Karen Gillette Turley of Chesapeake, Ohio and Charlotte Rankin Garbesi of Huntington, West Virginia, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, Kenny was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore H. Turley, sister, Patricia Ann Parker, and niece, Trish Parker.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crown City Cemetery. Friends and family may call the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Turley, Base Bailey, Bill Bailey, Brian Moore, Brent James, James Halley, Josh Jividen, and Jim Lee Duke. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Will Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crown City Community Church (PO Box 10, Crown City, Ohio 45623), or Hospice of Huntington (PO Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709).
