Kristin Lynn Garber

Kristin L. Garber, 45, of Vinton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories with those who knew her best. Kris was born on June 11, 1980 in Athens, Ohio daughter of the late Larry Steward and Cheryl Ramey Young.

Kris is survived by her devoted husband, R.J. Garber whom she married on March 13, 2012; her beloved daughter Hollee Castor; her loving mother Cheryl Young (John Young); a brother Brian Reed; a sister Dana Stapleton (Allen Stapleton); and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss her presence. Kris will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she shared. 

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
