Larry R. "Butch" Davis

Larry R. “Butch” Davis, 67, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on November 18, 1950 in Lawrence County, Ohio, Butch was the son of the late Richard E. and Avanelle Miller Davis. Butch retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center. He enjoyed OSU games, coon hunting, collecting knives, and spending time with family. Butch is survived by his daughter, Jessica Davis (Nick Cremeans) of Gallipolis; son, Bryan Davis (Vicki) of Gallipolis; granddaughters, Desirea, Delilah, and Brooklynn; and one sister, Patti (Jim) Snyder of Rio Grande. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Davis. The funeral service for Butch Davis will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Neal Cemetery.
