Larry W. Eads, 77, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1940 in Gallipolis, son of the late Roy Basil and Louise Burnette Eads. He married Alice Finnicum on August 4, 1962 in Pt. Pleasant, WV and she survives him. Larry retired from Akzo-Noble. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, was a trap shooter and loved the outdoors. He was the past president of The Gun Club, Pt. Pleasant, WV for four years. Surviving are his wife, Alice Eads of Gallipolis; two sons, Brian Stephen (Jody) Eads of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mark (Ruth) Eads of Gallipolis; four grandchildren, Brian Wayne Eads, Joseph Robert Eads and twins, Elizabeth Rae and Emily Rose Eads; three brothers, Gene (Carol) Eads of Knoxville, TN, Roy A. (Sandra) Eads of Henderson, WV and Charles W. (Bertha) Eads of Gallipolis; two half-sisters, Dinah M. Eads and Patricia Eads; a special friends, John Reynolds, Jim Hatten and Kinzy Smith, who were his trapshooting buddies; several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Brandy Nicole Eads and Dianna Michelle Eads, a grandson, Stephen Michael Eads, a sister, Anita Faye Shaver, grandparents Oddie and Florence Eads and Charles and Eva Burnette. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Centenary Cemetery with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
