Larry Joe Kelton

Larry Joe Kelton, 78, of Sunnyvale, California, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on October 16, 2015 in Santa Clara, California. He was born August 20, 1937 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Austin and Alma Hern Kelton. Larry was married to Frances Anne Trent Kelton and she preceded him in death on July 7, 2015. He was a retired meat cutter after working for Evans Grocery, Pennyfare and Foodland. Larry was a 1955 graduate of GAHS and in 1960 graduated from the National School of Meat Cutting in Toledo. Surviving are two daughters, Lori Haffelt of Sunnyvale, California and Teri (Howard) Blain of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia; grandchildren, Dexi Blain of Carrollton, Georgia and Ben Blain of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Sue (Tom) Smith of Jackson, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, and a host of beloved family and friends. The Larry Kelton family will have a time to receive family and friends at Willis Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
