Leah M. Parsons

Leah "Mousie" Price Parsons, 91, of Gallipolis, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2026. Leah was born on July 1, 1935 in Lincoln County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Millard Washington Price and Della Adkins Price.

Leah had been a greeter at Walmart, was a caregiver to her family whom she loved so much, and was a member of Promised Land Church. Leah was preceded in death by husbands, Daniel C. Hawes in 2005 and Rev. Andrew J. Parsons in 2020. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Pat Price, Junior Price, Willard Price, Norris Price, and Billy Price; two sisters, Mae Price Jeffrey and Nora Price Hargis; and two godsons, Larry Casteel and Jerry Casteel.

Leah was Granny to Todd Casteel and Michelle Casteel Layne who survive her, along with several nieces, nephews, and her church family.

The funeral service for Leah will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Truman Johnson and Don Elliott officiating. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Wayne County, West Virginia.
