Lee Roy Hunt, 80, of Vinton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 27, 1935 in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Ethel Thornsberry Hunt Coleman and Thomas Hunt. Lee Roy had owned and operated Hunt’s Grocery on State Route 160. He enjoyed camping, fishing, deer hunting, and watching TV Westerns. He was of the Primitive Baptist Faith in Pike County, KY. Lee Roy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Geraldine Ward Hunt of Vinton, a son Timothy Hunt of Hot Springs, Arkansas, two daughters Wilma Kramarczyk of Bidwell and Betty (B-B) Wicker of Columbus, Indiana, two steps sons Mitchell (Cassie) Smith and Don Smith both of Vinton; Grandchildren Eddie Kramarczyk, Dorreena Mullins, Frank Sarris, Amber Templeton, Brittany Stuart, McKenzie Spurlin and Logan Spurlin; Step Grandchildren Wesley Smith, David Smith, Tiffany Morris, and J.D. Smith, and multiple great grandchildren. Lee Roy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jackie Hunt, children Wanda Sue in infancy, Stephen Roy, and Darlene McGomery and by great grandchildren Billie Lee Wollek and Jeremiah Anderson. Lee Roy is also survived by a sister Susie (Eddie) Abbott of Kemper, KY, three brothers Bill Hunt of Kemper, KY, Andrew Hunt of Phelps, KY, and Earl Hunt of Kemper, KY. Services will be noon on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home. His burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday April 25, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the services.
