Len Eugene Jordan, 91, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1934 to the late Seaford and Martha Easter Preston Jordan.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 65 years Jane Ann Jordan, on December 21, 2021; his sisters, Maxie Camden and Shirley Terry; and brothers, Marlin Jordan and Lonnie Jordan. He loved and was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Jordan (Charlie Booth) and son Randy Jordan; grandchildren, Joshua Whealdon, Amber Grant (Rob Jones), and David Jordan; great--grandchildren, Ashton, Taylor, Aires, Kyleigh, Joslynn, Bristol, Jase, and Nya; and several nieces and nephews.
Eugene proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Germany from 1956 to 1959. Following his military service, Eugene worked at Goodyear for 12 years. From 1974 to 2001, Eugene was co-owner of Jordans Gas Service. After his retirement, he worked at the Senior Citizen Center for 13 years.
He was a member of Vinton Baptist Church for over 30 years. Eugene dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He was a great inspiration to many his whole life by his faith, kindness, and generosity. Eugene will also be remembered for his love of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
The funeral service for Eugene will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Chapel Cemetery. Full military honors will be presented by the Gallia County Honor Guard. Friends may call prior to the service Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Whealdon, Preston Jordan, Brett Jordan, Rob Jones, Anthoney Williamson, and Keith Mayo. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Camden.
The family would like to thank the staff on 2 West at Holzer Hospital and Holzer Hospice for the great care and compassion that was given to Eugene during this difficult time.
Eugene's family takes comfort in knowing that he has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant" and he now rests in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
