Lenora R. Ferguson

Lenora R. Ferguson, 94, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at her residence. She was born on September 8, 1931 in Henlawson, West Virginia located in Logan County. Lenora was the daughter of Edwin S. and Clara Dale Jarrell.

Lenora was married to Luther S. Ferguson, and he preceded her in death in 2016. In addition to her parents and husband, Lenora was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie A. Ferguson and Joseph M. Ferguson; two sons-in-law, John R. Beam and Howard Mullins; brothers, Paul, Joe, Bennie, and Dave Jarrell; and sisters, Sarah Hysell and Esteen Webb.

Lenora is survived by two daughters, Ethyl M. Beam of Sidney, Ohio and Nany L. Mullins of Otway, Ohio; eight grandchildren; twenty-three great- grandchildren; twenty-four great great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Jarrell of Princeton, West Virginia; and two sisters, Maxine Smith of Alabama and Mollie O'Donnell of Princeton, West Virginia.

The funeral service for Lenora will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Harper officiating. Her burial will follow in Old Pine Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
