Leonard L. Hurlow, 68, of Crown City, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born May 23, 1947 in Mason County, West Virginia, son of the late Leemon J. and Nora Chloe Robinson Hurlow. Leonard was a retired boilermaker with Local 667, Winfield, West Virginia. He attended Promiseland Church, enjoyed John Wayne movies, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Woodyard (David Gray) of Nashville, Tennessee and Crystal Masters (Bobby Bryan) of Crown City; two sons, Tony Hurlow of Crown City and Sgt. Todd McDade of Hartford, West Virginia; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Levi, Alexus, Charles, Linda, Ally, Bryona, Lillian and Brody; three great grandchildren, Layla, Garrett, and Milo; two sisters, Wilma Spires of Pt. Pleasant and Betty Rodgers of Gallipolis; three brothers, Jim Hurlow of Mason, West Virginia, John (Darlene) Hurlow of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia and Sam (Hope) Hurlow of Gallipolis. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by five brothers, Joe, Oakey, Eugene, Dale and William, a sister, Audrey Woods and his former wife, Susan Siders. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Truman Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
