Leonard M. Sutton, 79, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at his home on Monday, December 3, 2018 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Len was born on February 11, 1939 at Pickens, West Virginia, son of the late Armeda and Bill Sutton. Retired from Rockwell International in Columbus, Ohio, Len’s proudest accomplishment was leading a team of technicians building the B-1 Bomber. His love of airplanes always remained with him. Len was proud to have served in the U S Marine Corp. He enjoyed boating and four-wheeling. Above all else, Len cherished time spent with family and friends. Len is survived by his partner, Kris Knotts Moore of Gallipolis; great granddaughter, Braeanna King of Albany, Oregon; sisters, Jessie Summerfield of Rawlings, Maryland and Rosie Dulaney of Pickens, West Virginia; daughters, Dianna Bailey of Granite Bay, California, Donna Randal of Albany, Oregon, and Tracy Langford of Delaware, Ohio; son, Travis Moore of Columbus, Ohio; and many dearly loved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Services will take place at the Pickens Baptist Church, Pickens, West Virginia and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pickens Cemetery, c/o Rosie Dulaney, P.O. Box 123, Pickens, West Virginia 26230. Willis Funeral Home is in care of local arrangements.
