Leshia Saunders

Leshia M. Saunders, 65, passed away surrounded by family at her home on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

On June 13, 1960, Leshia was born to the late Maxie Earl Roberts Sr. and Thelma Biars in Gallipolis, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Maxie Roberts Jr. and Danny Roberts.

Leshia retired from Holzer Medical Center after 20 plus years as a head cook.  She is survived by her husband, Tony L. Saunders, whom she married on January 30, 1982; two daughters, Breezy Clark (Ariel Palma) of Bidwell, Ohio and Toni Leah Halley of Crown City, Ohio; a grandson, Colt Clark of Bidwell, Ohio; a granddaughter, Starr Saunders of Crown City, Ohio; two sisters, Sharon (Harry) Yarbrough of Bidwell, Ohio and Joann (John) Davis of Crown City, Ohio; and a brother, Roy (Norma) Roberts of McNeal, Arizona, along with several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Leshia's and the family's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
