Lewis James Galliano

Captain Lewis James Galliano, 69, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at his residence.

Born on December 24, 1956 in Galliano, Louisiana, Jimmy was the son of the late Nilton Joseph and Janis Marie Terrebonne Galliano. On October 17, 2011, Jimmy married Gari Kelley Galliano who survives him in Crown City. Jimmy was a Blue Water Captain for 52 years, lastly with Crosby Tugs.

He is survived by his wife, whom he married on October 17, 2011, Gari Galliano of Crown City, Ohio; daughters, Casey Galliano of Louisiana and Olivia Galliano of Florida; chosen children, Rosa Kelley of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Nelida Hernandez of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Devan Hernandez of Crown City, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Angie Galliano of Louisiana.

A Celebration of Life will be held later at the convenience of the family.
