Lillie Mae Dean Harvey, 96, of Medina, Ohio, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Hospice of Medina County, Medina, Ohio. She was born January 16, 1916 in Cabell County, West Virginia, daughter of the late James Ellis and Mary L. Smith Dean. Lillie married Henry O. Harvey and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1994. She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church in Cabell County, West Virginia and was a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Lorene (William) Wallace of Brooklyn, Ohio, Josephine (Dean) Lamb of Twinsburg, Ohio, Eveline (Richard) Franko of Kodak, Tennessee, Kathleen (Michael) Palmer of Medina, Ohio and William Michael (Judy) Harvey of Gallipolis, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one sister, Zelda Cole of Elkton, Maryland. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry O. Harvey, a daughter Irene Butcher, one grandson Craig Franko, one great grandson Paul Thompson, one sister and seven brothers. Services will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Voss officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Lillie’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
