Linda L. Austin

Linda L. Austin, 84, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the home of her cousin and guardian, Brenda Porter. Linda was born on March 16, 1942, in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Willard Milton and Bonnie Angell Austin.

Linda was a member of Silver Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. Linda is survived by her guardian and special cousin, Brenda Porter; sister, Bambi (Roger) Harris of Rio Grande, Ohio; nephew, Billy (Jessica) Slone of Sunbury, Ohio; nieces, Erica Hessinger of Gallipolis and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Rife of Bidwell; aunt, Carolyn (Waldo) Porter of Sandusky, Ohio; several cousins; and a special high school friend, Dorothy Myers of Columbus, Ohio.

The funeral service for Linda will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Ferrell officiating. Entombment will be in Chapel of Hope Mausoleum at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Stegall, Zach Green, Billy Slone, Bobby McGuire, Chris Drummond, and Raymond Pauley.
