Linda L. Kinder

Linda L. Kinder went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Arbors at Gallipolis.

Born on October 18, 1940 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Sigler Burns. Linda was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and a homemaker with a strong Christian faith. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Jim Kinder; second husband, Floyd Simmons, Jr.; and siblings, Bill Burns, Bob Burns, Bud Burns, Midge Daft, Christine Kirk, Sue Chaney, Wilma Sayre, Clara Wolfe, and Carol Burns.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Kinder of Gallipolis and Rebecca (Mark) Stanley of Patriot, Ohio; grandson, Austin Stanley; great grandson, Kash Stanley; brother, Jim Burns; and sister, Thelma (Herb) Harrington.

In accordance with Linda's wishes, there will be no public services. The family requests in lieu of flowers, friends make a donation in Linda's name to the Holzer Center for Cancer Care, 170 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631.
