Linda S. Martin

Linda S. Martin, 58, of Gallipolis, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Linda was born on July 31, 1948 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Virginia Spears Rainey and Marion Waugh Rainey. She was retired from Jobs and Family Services, a member of the Elizabeth Chapel Church where she enjoyed singing for the Lord. Linda was a loving wife to her husband Dean Martin, whom she married on January 1, 1984 and a loving mother to her three daughters, Tara Kenny Wroten of Crown City, Angela Robert St. Clair of Gallipolis, and Deanna Jeremy Powell of Bidwell; Grandchildren, Josh Wroten, Bethany Bush, Dakota Wroten, Adrianna Powell, Sydney St. Clair, Savannah St. Clair, Krista Powell, and an eighth grandchild expected in July; Three brothers Leonard Nancy Rainey of Gallipolis, Marion Doris Rainey of St. Albans, WV, and Edward Ruby Rainey of Westminster, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Virginia Rainey, a sister Jo Ann Rainey and by two sisters in infancy. Services will be 10 am Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from 6-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Dallas Martin, Donald Martin, Rick Martin, Jeremy Powell, Robert St. Clair, Kenny Wroten, Hollis Watson and Johnny Beaver.
