Lola H. Mccombs

Lola H. McCombs, 88, of Patriot, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born on April 10, 1917 in Lawrence County, Ohio daughter of the late James S. and Mary J. Wickline Saunders. Lola married Leslie E. McCombs and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1991. She was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Chester Stout of Patriot; four sons, Lester J. McCombs, Leo E. Sandra McCombs, Lonnie L. McCombs, and Lewis A. Brandace McCombs, all of Patriot; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie, one great granddaughter, three brothers, Clarence, Heber and Ephraim Saunders and two sisters, Ethel Brumfield and Edith Kemper. Services will be on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 7, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. Grandsons and great grandsons will be pallbearers.
